But Of That Day And Hour Knoweth No Man

This statement (Mat.24:36) was made by Jesus to his disciples
about 2,000 years ago. He said it in the present tense, "knoweth
no man." Nowhere does He say, or even infer, that no one would
ever know.

(all verses quoted are KJV, for an instant reference in the
English Standard Version, place cursor on chapter/verse).

Jesus speaking in the present tense of His day, said these words,
and they are true today, but when the covenant of Daniel 9:27 is
signed, we will know to within a few days, or weeks at the most.
See the following:

I Thes.5:4

"But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day
should overtake you as a thief."   It won't happen to us!
Rev.3:3

"If therefore thou shall not watch, I will come on thee
as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come
upon thee."    So, if we watch this won't happen to us!
Mat.13:11

"It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom
of heaven, but to them it is not given."   Them   is everyone that is not a Christian!
I Thes.5:3-4

3) "For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden
destruction cometh upon them and they shall not escape."

        Again, the   them   are the they   not us!

4) "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day
should overtake you as a thief." It won't happen to us!

Second of all, it is important to note that the dead in Christ shall
rise first. Why is this important? Because this is the "resurrection"
and nowhere in the Bible is there a mention of what we call "The
Rapture" without the resurrection happening first.

Let's look at I Corinthians 15:51-52, "We shall not all sleep (die),
but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead
shall be raised incorruptible, and then we shall be changed"
(raptured). There you have it. The dead shall be raised, and then
we will be changed. First the resurrection then the rapture.

How do we know the resurrection is on the last day?...

(paraphrased).... The words of Jesus:

John 6:39, "...this is my Fathers will that all He has given me
I should lose nothing, but raise it up again at the last day."

John 6:40, "...that every one that believeth on Me, may have
everylasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 6:44, "No man can come to me, except the Father which
has sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 11:24, "Martha said unto Him, I know that he shall rise
again in the resurrection at the last day."So, the resurrection
happens on the last day, and the rapture cannot happen before
the resurrection.... so when is the last day?

Revelation chapters 8, 9 and 10 deal with the 7 trumpets of the
tribulation. Lets look at Rev.10:5,6,7, (paraphrased) "And the
angel which I saw...sware by him that liveth for ever and ever...
that there should be time no longer...when the 7th angel shall
begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished..."

So, when the 7th angel sounds his trumpet he states that "there
should be time no longer," that sure sounds like the last day
to me. Then what does he state next? "The mystery of God
should be finished." What is this mystery of God that happens
at the last trump? Actually, Paul already told us what the mystery
was in I Corinthians 15:51-52, put the cursor on that scripture.
First, the resurrection, then the rapture (we shall be changed),
both at the last trump, on the last day, at the very end.
